What Maintenance Covers

The recurring work that keeps live software secure, current and supported.

Patching and Security Updates

Operating system, framework and library patches applied on a schedule, with the fixes that cannot wait handled first.

Version Upgrades

Framework, runtime and platform upgrades planned in steps. Larger upgrade programmes are scoped on software maintenance and version upgrades.

Dependency Updates

Third-party packages and services kept current, so one outdated library does not block the next release.

Regression Testing

Every change tested against a regression pack before release, so a fix in one place does not break another.

Incident Ownership

A named owner for incidents on your live application, working 9am to 1pm Eastern, with delivery from India.

Monthly Reporting

A report each month of what was patched, upgraded and fixed, and what is queued for the next cycle.

Software We Keep Running

Applications already in production, whoever built them.

Web Applications

Customer and internal web apps, kept patched and upgraded with each release tested.

Mobile Apps

Android and iOS apps updated for new operating system releases and store requirements.

SaaS and Cloud-Native

Cloud applications supported on a monthly scope. Cloud-specific support is scoped on cloud and SaaS application support.

Legacy Systems

Older systems that still run the business. Replacement is scoped on legacy system modernization and migration.

Maintenance Problems We Fix

What builds up when live software has no one responsible for keeping it current.

Upgrade Delays

Versions left behind until the upgrade is large and risky. Smaller, regular steps keep each one safe.

Patch Backlog

Known security fixes waiting for a free week. A monthly cycle clears them in order of risk.

Incidents With No Owner

A live problem passed between teams. A named owner takes it, works it and reports back.

Releases You Cannot Reverse

Changes shipped with no way back. Each release is built to be rolled back if it misbehaves.

Platforms That Stay in Production

Systems built and tested by Vervali that run the business every day, and need to stay current.

How Maintenance Starts

A review first, a monthly scope you can read and a first cycle that proves it works.

System Review

A free look at the application, its stack, its open issues and how it is released today.

Monthly Scope and Quote

What is covered each month, the incident owner and the regression pack named up front, then a monthly price.

First Cycle

One full patch, upgrade and regression cycle, so you see the report and the result before committing further.

Keep It Current

A steady monthly rhythm, with the scope adjusted as the application changes.

Why Teams Choose Vervali for Maintenance

One team that tests what it changes and owns the incident when something breaks.

Build and Test Together

Developers backed by an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited lab and CMMI Level 3 process, so every release is regression-tested before it ships.

A Named Owner

One accountable person for incidents on your application, instead of a ticket queue with no face.

Hours That Overlap

Working hours overlap 9am to 1pm Eastern for stand-ups, blockers and release calls, with delivery from India.

Frequently Asked Questions

Patching, version upgrades, dependency updates and regression testing for software already in production, on a named monthly scope. It also includes a named owner for incidents and a monthly report of what changed. The quote lists exactly what is covered each month, so you know what you are paying for before the first cycle starts.

Yes. We start with a review of the system, its stack and what it depends on, then set a safe order for patches and upgrades. Some systems are better replaced than kept, and we say so plainly. Where replacement is the right call, it is scoped as a separate modernization project with its own quote.

Round-the-clock cover is not part of the standard scope. Support is delivered from India, with a named incident owner working 9am to 1pm Eastern, plus the overlap agreed in your quote. If your application needs monitoring outside those hours, we tell you plainly what we can staff before you sign.

Security patches are applied on a schedule, with urgent fixes handled first and every change regression-tested before release. We test the controls your rules require, such as access and logging, and report the results to you. Vervali holds ISO/IEC 27001 for information security, but we do not certify your application.

Yes. We support web, mobile, SaaS and cloud-native applications, including dependency updates, version upgrades and incident ownership. Cloud-specific work such as environment changes is scoped alongside the monthly maintenance. The quote names the cloud services in scope and who owns the cloud account, which stays in your name.

We do not publish a fixed response time, because it depends on your application and the scope you buy. The quote sets the response target for each severity level and names the incident owner. During coverage hours, 9am to 1pm Eastern, the owner takes the issue, works it and reports back until it is resolved.

We maintain software for lending and banking, manufacturing and operations, healthcare and diagnostics, ecommerce and logistics, among others. Maintenance work depends on the stack and the release process more than on the industry. The review looks at your application first, and we say if it falls outside what we can staff.

Clutch lists Vervali at $25 to $49 per hour. Maintenance is quoted as a monthly scope once the application, the stack, the regression pack and the incident cover are reviewed. A single web app and a multi-service platform are different quotes. Tool licences, data and extra device coverage are named in the estimate.
